Mail Security Studio is operated by TechKee Limited. This notice explains information used by the public assessment tools.

Using the tools

We process the domain names and information you submit to provide assessments and other requested results. Assessments use external DNS and domain registration (RDAP) services and connect to relevant public mail infrastructure. The assessed domain is sent to the relevant registration provider; returned public registration details may include published contact information and are saved with the assessment snapshot. Application records, including assessment history and feedback, are stored for operating and supporting the service. These operational records are separate from optional Google Analytics.

Optional Google Analytics

If you select Accept analytics, Google Analytics receives usage events such as page views, assessment starts, completions, failures and PDF download clicks, along with browser/device information, cookie identifiers and approximate geographic information. Google receives your IP address when your browser connects to its service; Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.

Our analytics integration excludes submitted domain names, report contents, pasted email headers, email addresses, report identifiers and URL query strings. Page names are generic. Referring URLs are reduced to the referring website's origin. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals, and we do not load analytics on administration pages or for signed-in administrators.

Analytics is optional. We do not load Google's analytics tag or send analytics events before you accept. Rejecting analytics does not prevent use of any public tool. Tracking blockers and consent choices can affect the completeness of usage reports.

Cookies and your choice

The mss_analytics_consent cookie remembers your choice for six months. If accepted, Google Analytics uses _ga and property-specific _ga_… cookies, configured with a six-month lifetime. Necessary security, anti-forgery and sign-in cookies are separate; the assessment security check also uses Cloudflare Turnstile.

Use Analytics settings at the bottom of public pages to change your choice. Rejecting after accepting stops further analytics, clears accessible Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page. This does not erase information already collected by Google.
